Italian-born Julia Noni, found her passion for photography while studying visual arts in Düsseldorf. The graphic elegance, and attention to the subtleties of human gesture that have been manifest in her fashion imagery since are grounded in her multidisciplinary understanding of visual culture. After her university program, Julia returned to Italy and began her career as a fashion photographer. She relocated to Paris in 2009, before moving to New York City in 2012. With her talent for choreographing of her subjects’ movement, and refined visual understanding of architectural and pictorial space, she constructs distinctive characters, narratives and a sense of place within her imagery. Julia currently shoots for editorial clients including American Vogue, British Vogue, Vogue Japan, Vogue Germany, Vogue China, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Teen Vogue, T Magazine, Muse, and 10 Men. Her advertising clients include brands such as Dior, Kenzo, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, David Yurman, H&M, Nike, Apple, Sephora, Clarins, Swarovski, Aldo, L’Oreal, Issey Miyake, and Eres.
